Ember is a behavioral change system for Android. It tracks habits, analyzes behavioral patterns, suggests adaptive adjustments, and measures outcomes — alongside planning, journaling, and personal management features.
Most habit trackers record completions and count streaks. Ember analyzes risk, momentum, difficulty, weekday patterns, and time-of-day behavior. It detects when a habit is struggling and suggests a concrete adjustment you can accept or reject.
Behavioral analytics is the system's analysis engine. It computes completion rates, risk scores, momentum levels, difficulty signals, weak weekdays, and best time windows from your actual habit history — turning raw data into actionable feedback.
The system looks at five signals: how often you use the minimum version, whether you used the emergency version, if your completion rate is declining, and whether the full version is no longer the majority. When confidence crosses a threshold, it flags the habit as too hard.
When the system detects a pattern that needs attention — such as a habit that is too difficult, a weak weekday, or declining momentum — it generates a concrete proposal: reduce the target, change the frequency, or adjust the timing. You accept or reject each suggestion.
No. The system detects patterns and suggests adjustments. Every change requires your explicit approval. The intervention engine produces suggestions — you decide whether to accept them.
The AI Coach helps explain your behavioral data and recommendations in natural language. It can reword insights in your preferred tone — Balanced, Encouraging, Direct, Calm, or Challenging. The underlying analysis is deterministic; AI only enhances the wording.
No. The behavioral analysis engine is deterministic. It produces risk scores, momentum assessments, difficulty signals, and intervention recommendations without AI. The AI Coach optionally rewords that output for clarity.
Every behavioral feature works without AI. The system has deterministic fallbacks for the AI Coach, weekly review, and adaptive suggestions. AI enhances wording only — it does not generate analytical insights.
At the end of each completed week, the system generates a structured review covering your completion patterns, behavioral signals, wins, areas needing adjustment, identity evidence, and a focus area for next week. It is not just a streak summary.
You create named identities — like 'I am a runner' — and link proving habits to them. The system tracks evidence points as you complete those habits. Your identity level grows as behavior aligns with who you are trying to become.
You earn coins for habit completions — more for FULL completions, fewer for MINIMUM and EMERGENCY. Coins can be spent in the Reward Shop on themes, avatars, and other cosmetic items. You can also purchase Streak Freeze or use Temptation Bundles.
Streak Freeze costs 100 coins and protects one missed scheduled day. Your streak stays continuous without counting the frozen day as a completion. One freeze per habit per day.
Temptation Bundles let you pair a reward with a habit — like 'watch a movie after finishing the full version.' Bundles unlock when you complete the FULL version and can be used once.
Every habit can have three behavioral versions. FULL is your normal target. MINIMUM is a two-minute or reduced version for low-energy days. EMERGENCY is a crisis-level fallback. All three keep your streak alive and earn coins.
When you accept an adaptive suggestion, the system observes your behavior for 14 days and compares results before and after. You see whether the change was associated with improvement, decline, or no significant change.
Ember includes a 7-day free trial with full access to every feature. After the trial you continue with a subscription — Basic from ₦3,000/month or Premium from ₦5,000/month with generous annual savings. If your subscription lapses you lose access but never lose your data.
The minimum Android version needs to be confirmed from the release build metadata.
Download the APK from this official site, open it on your Android device, allow installation for that browser or file manager only, complete installation, then turn that temporary permission back off if desired.
The app uses authenticated API calls and Expo SecureStore for local session and settings data. Behavioral recommendations are generated from your data on the server. Exact backend retention policy should be confirmed in the privacy policy.
Yes. The mobile app includes signup, login, password change, and account deletion flows.
The Expo configuration includes iOS settings, but this website only advertises Android APK availability until an iOS release is confirmed.
Download the newer official APK and install it over the current version. Release notes explain version-specific changes.
